HP Deskjet 3720
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please help, the web services light is flashing white.  I cannot print.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling printer.  Nothing works.   Blue wireless  light on and ok.

Error message saying more than one access point/wireless router has been found that matches your wireless network name.  If this is not intended your HP printer may connect to the wrong wireless network name.

If this is the problem, I don't know how to fix this.

@PaulMpls, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Follow the steps below to add the printer using IP address-

1.  Select “Start” and type “printers” in the search box.

2.  Choose “Printers & scanners“.

3.   elect “Add a printer or scanner“.

4.  Wait for the “The printer that I want isn’t listed” option to appear, then select it.

5.   Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname” , then select “Next“.

6.   select “TCP/IP Device” in the “Device type” list.

7.  Type the hostname or the IP address of the printer. Select “Next“. To find the IP address of the printer, touch the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel.

8.  Windows should find the printer if the printer is on and configured correctly. You may have to specify more information. If prompted, select the type of network adapter installed in the printer in the “Device Type” drop-down list. You can also click “Custom” to specify custom settings for the network printer. Select “Next“.

Try printing.

If you still have issues, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

(Note that the images I included looked good when I added them - I'm not sure why they don't show up)

I tried those instructions, but the test print page fails.  I also looked at the Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center but didn't find anything appropriate that I haven't already tried.

Here is the Wireless Networks Test Page (scanned with a  different device):

Here is the HP Network Configuration Page:

Looking at the gateway's connected devices, I can see the printer based upon the MAC, but I notice that it doesn't have an IP Address like all the other devices do.  Also, all the other IP Addresses are 10.0.* based instead of 169.* based.

Note that I cannot ping the IP Address (169.254.23.168) from the 'Wireless Network Test Results" page (note this matches the IP Address found on the  Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel) from my Windows machine:

It seems like the printer hasn't properly joined the network.

@PaulMpls

The Printer IP address is not valid, I'd suggest you perform a network reset and try reconfiguring the printer.

To reconfigure the printer, follow the steps from the document HP Printers - No Connection after Router or Wi-Fi Settings Change.

Additionally, refer to the document Connect to a Wireless HP Printer for help.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I tried those recommended solutions and many more.  I probably spent 12 hours trying to get it to work, but finally gave up and bought a new Canon printer, which I was able to connect to the network without much issue.  You can consider this issue closed.  Thanks.
