Hi @CGT50,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

To find the IP address of your HP Smart Tank 5101 printer, you can use any of the following methods:

Method 1: Print a Network Configuration Page

  1. Make sure the printer is on and connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. On the printer control panel:
    • Press and hold the Information (i) button until all buttons light up.
    • Then press the Information (i) and Cancel (X) buttons together.
  3. Network Configuration Page will print.
  4. Look for the IPv4 Address under the Wireless Network Test Results section.

Method 2: Use the HP Smart App

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
  2. Tap your printer’s name or image.
  3. Go to Printer Information or Network Information.
  4. The IP address will be listed there.

Method 3: Use Your Router’s Admin Page

  1. Log in to your Wi-Fi router’s admin page (usually at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
  2. Look under Connected Devices or DHCP Clients.
  3. Find your printer by name (e.g., HP Smart Tank 5101) and note the IP address.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
