2 weeks I installed my pinter and it worked fine. Now I want to print something else and I can make a connection but I cannot print anything, it's still giving me the message "status unknown".
I already restarted it and and reinstalled but that didn't work.
Can you help me with this please?

Hi @Sve2014
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for reaching out. We understand your HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e was working correctly after installation, but it now shows "Status Unknown" and does not print even after restarting and reinstalling. We are glad to help.
Please try the following:
- Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- On the printer control panel, confirm that the printer shows an active network connection and does not display any error messages.
- Open HP App, remove the printer, then add it again and allow it to complete the setup process.
- On your computer, clear any pending documents from the print queue and restart the computer.
- Set the HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e as the default printer and verify that it shows as Online rather than Offline.
- Print a Printer Status Report or Network Configuration Page directly from the printer. If the report prints successfully, the printer hardware is working correctly and the issue is likely related to communication between the computer and printer.
- If available, temporarily connect the printer using USB or try printing from another device on the same network to help identify whether the issue is specific to one computer.
If the printer still displays "Status Unknown", please let us know:
- Your operating system (Windows or Mac)
- Whether the printer appears Online or Offline
- If you can print directly from the printer's reports menu
This will help us guide you further.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
Regards,
