I have printed articles from the internet in the past and now it will not print them. There is nothing for printing from my computer. Only scan. What gives???

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help.
Which browser are you using? Did you try printing from a different browser? Do you get any error messages?
Ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

somewhere along my search for a solution and trying to make the on line robot understand my problem, I recall reading that I should maybe pull the printer plug and let its pea brain reboot itself. I am desperate at this point. I pulled the plug, walked away and let it be. Ten minutes later I returned, plugged the cord back into the back of the printer, found an online page on the net to scan and print. Eureka, after weeks of futzing around, to no avail, the printer is finally printing. This printer isn’t smarter than I am! Dirty deed done. I am not happy having a printer telling me what to do. I’m in charge .😄
