OfficeJet Pro 8025. My computer says it is offline. I use the HP Smart app on my laptop. It shows me the amount of ink, but I still cannot print to it. I can select it on my laptop. It says it is there, but that it is offline. I use the HP Smart app to print, but it just sits and spins trying to find it. HOWEVER, my cell phone works perfectly! What the hell, HP??!!!
I search the community pages and all I see is TCP crap. I should be able to install a printer and use it! My Epson worked perfectly until my daughter dropped a paperclip into it. I guess I am going back to them!
Now even my cell phone doesn't work! What HP, didn't think I was pissed off enough already??!!!!!

There have been issues with printers configured on WSD ports but this is not an HP only problem and is not the fault of HP. Microsoft is very aggressive in pushing WSD to the point that when some updates are installed, it will overwrite your default printer and change it to WSD and install a Microsoft Driver. There is not a lot HP can do about that. The TCP crap that you mention is one method of getting connected while limiting or eliminating WSD issues.
