Hi @caznova1999,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2755e printer is always showing as offline in Windows 11, this usually means there's a communication issue between your computer and the printer, often caused by network problems, outdated drivers, or sleep mode settings.

1. Power Cycle (Hard Reset)

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Do the same with your Wi-Fi router and computer.

2. Check Printer’s Network Connection

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button to confirm it’s connected.
  • Print a Wireless Network Test Report by holding the Information (i) button until it prints.
  • Make sure the printer is on the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

3. Set the Printer as Default

  • Open Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners
  • Select your HP DeskJet 2755e > Click Set as Default

4. Use HP Smart App

  • Install or open the HP Smart app.
  • It can automatically reconnect the printer and update its status.
  • If the printer is not found, use "Add Printer" and follow the prompts.

5. Update Printer Firmware

  • In the HP Smart app: Settings > Advanced Settings > Tools > Printer Updates
  • Or go to HP Software and Driver Downloads to install the latest firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
