Hi @Camiiiiiiiiu,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP printer isn't printing out the Wi-Fi Direct password when you press the designated buttons, you can try finding it through the HP Smart app or the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS).

Using the HP Smart App

Open the HP Smart App:

  •  Download and install the HP Smart app on your mobile device or computer from your device's app store or visit 123.hp.com.

Select the Printer

  • Open the app and select your printer from the list. If it's not listed, add the printer.

Navigate to Advanced Settings

  • Look for an option such as Advanced Settings, Printer Settings, or Network Settings.

Find Wi-Fi Direct Settings

  • You should find the Wi-Fi Direct section where the current password will be displayed or where you can reset it.

Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Obtain the Printer's IP Address:

  • For printers with a touchscreen, you can usually find the IP address from the network settings menu.
  • For printers without a touchscreen, print a network configuration page to find the IP address.

Access EWS:

  • Open a web browser on a device connected to the same network as the printer.
  • Enter the printer’s IP address into the browser's address bar and hit enter.

Navigate to Wi-Fi Direct Settings:

  • Once in the EWS interface, look for network or Wi-Fi Direct settings.
  • Here, you can view or reset the Wi-Fi Direct name and password.

Take care and have an amazing day!
