Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I have switched my network provider to ATT and can't get my Smart Tank 5100 to connect to the printer.  The network icon just keeps flashing.. I have tried to follow all the previous options, but I still can't to the network connection.  I have deleted the HP app and the Smart Printer app; restarted the computer and the printer.   Now what?  Thank you for your time on this.

You need to reset the Wi-Fi on the printer.  You then have (usually) 2 hours to connect after which it needs to be reset again.  To get off to a good start, log into the new modem and rename one of the bands so it has a different name (SSID) than the other.  Connect to the 2.4ghz or just print directly to the printer if you are not using an instant ink subscription.

Please provide the exact model name of the printer for better assistance as I may be able to find videos to show how to connect or fix the problem. A printer can be a PRO or a PLUS or have the letter 'e' after the number and that can make a big difference. Some printers with the same number ID could be a LaserJet, Deskjet, or Officejet.
