Hi @lol-0_9
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP DeskJet 2810e is having trouble reconnecting to your home Wi-Fi network.
Here are some steps to help resolve the issue:
Reset Network Settings:
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer simultaneously until the Wireless light starts blinking. This will reset the network settings.
Reconnect Using the HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone if you haven't already.
- Open the app and select "Set up a new printer."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Ensure Compatibility:
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network is set to the 2.4 GHz band, as some HP printers do not support 5 GHz networks.
- Verify that your network uses WPA or WPA2 security (open networks or WEP security may not work).
Move Closer to the Router:
- Place the printer within 6-8 feet of your Wi-Fi router to ensure a strong signal during setup.
Update Firmware:
- Check for firmware updates for your printer using the HP Smart app or the HP Support website. Updating the firmware can resolve connectivity issues.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off your printer, router, and computer. Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
Temporary Firewall/Antivirus Disable:
- If you have security software on your computer, temporarily disable it during the setup process, as it might block the connection.
