Hi @Brandy486-1_b

Welcome to the HP Support Community! Thanks for posting your query!

We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for sharing that. The blinking wireless light on your HP printer typically means it’s not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Since you’ve recently installed a new router and already tried resetting and unplugging, let’s clarify a few things so I can guide you through the most effective steps:

  1. Printer model – Which HP printer are you using?
  2. Connection method – Are you trying to connect the printer via Wi-Fi only, or is it also connected to your PC with a USB cable?
  3. Device used for setup – Are you using a Windows PC, Mac, Android, or iPhone to set up the printer?
  4. HP App status – Have you tried using the HP App to reconnect the printer? If so, what happens during setup?
  5. Router details – Is your new router broadcasting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks? HP printers typically require 2.4 GHz.
  6. Printer display – Does the printer have a touchscreen or buttons only? Are there any error messages shown?

Once I have this information, I’ll walk you through the exact steps to reconnect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network. You're doing the right thing by reaching out—let’s get this sorted.

Regards,
