WiFi on printer won't stay connected

Check Wi-Fi Router Position

1. Positioning: Ensure your wireless access point or router is centrally located within your workspace and away from dense materials like metal or concrete.
2. Channels: Change the wireless channel on the router to one that is less crowded, preferably channels 1, 6, or 11.

Printer Position

1. Placement: Place the printer within an optimal range of the Wi-Fi router, avoiding obstructions.

Wireless Setup Wizard

1. Access Control Panel:
   • On the printer, tap the Menu icon.
   • Navigate to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi.
   • Tap Wireless Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Factory Reset and Setup

If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults.

HP Smart App Setup:

• Open the HP Smart app.
