We changed modem and the wifi password has changed - since then the printer is not connecting, however there seems to be no way to change/update the connection details either from the HP app - or anywhere. Any advice would be much appreciated.

General help for new modem but try the reset and watch the video
1 - Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer
2 - Wi-Fi connection is lost after router or network settings change
3 - HP Smart help with printer connection.

The DeskJet 2724 uses only the 2.4ghz band.
If you wish to use Wi-Fi direct then all devices must operate in that band.

Let me know if you have a flex system (WiFi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is much more complicated.
