@Dougiefresh25, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9120. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the Wi-Fi connection issue:

Restore Network Settings:

  • From the printer's Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings.
  • Choose Restore Network Settings to reset the network configuration.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall and then reinstall the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Ensure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.

Check Network Settings:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the correct network.
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong and the printer is within range of your router.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there's a newer firmware update available for your printer on the HP website.
  • Updating the firmware might resolve connectivity issues.

Assign Static IP Address:

  • Assign a static IP address to the printer to avoid potential conflicts and ensure it remains on the same IP.

Power Cycle Network Equipment:

  • Unplug your router and modem for about 30 seconds, then plug them back in. This can sometimes help resolve connectivity issues.
