HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

I have two HP 3755 printers. One for work and one for home. We changed our wifi network at work and I had to uninstall BOTH printers from HP Smart because of this. There is no option in HP smart to update your network connection if you aren't connected to the original network you installed with. It is pretty hard to do both, it is one or the other. I use instant ink so I hoped to update vs uninstall and reinstall. After hours and reading solutions that were not close to helpful I did just that. Couldn't even reinstall without using USB as the connection option. It would not do anything wifi wise. Now after that both my printers just randomly cut off the footer of an excel or google sheet I have printed every day the same way. Header fine, footer just not there. Margins are fine and I have followed any info I could find online. It all printed just fine before and prints fine on other printers. Honestly HP advice would be great but I feel like it is just going to be bull crap like all the other solutions I tried on here. You guys try to make your programs so extra and all connect but man could you stop adding on so many things. Keep it more simple. I had to report two laptops that the upper casing starting lifting off of (and my husbands as well we didn't even try to report for lack of help) and they were under warranty. All I got was the run around and I don't have time to spend chatting or talking with you guys and getting nowhere. It is like it is on purpose, shocking. It won't make a bit of difference but our company won't be buying anything HP laptop or printer related and we have quite a few. You guys make things so much harder but you offer bull crap support like you are helping someone. So thanks for that.

I get this is for support but I realized there isn't much point in asking the same questions others have asked, I have tried, and none of it is helpful. If it is seen by HP then that is all the better. Again, won't do good, but I am just really sick of HP all around.

Hi @Bsapp,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the frustrations you've experienced with your HP DeskJet 3755 printers and the support you've received. I can offer some general advice that might help you troubleshoot the printing issue you're facing.

  • Printer Drivers and Software: Ensure that you have the latest drivers and software installed for your HP DeskJet 3755 printers. Visit the official HP website and download the most up-to-date drivers for your specific printer model.
  • Printer Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printers. Firmware updates can often resolve compatibility issues and improve overall performance.
  • Network Configuration: Confirm that your printers are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You might need to access the printer settings either through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app to update the network information.
  • Print Preview: Before printing, use the print preview option in the application you're printing from (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) to ensure that the entire document, including headers and footers, is displayed correctly.
  • Page Setup: Double-check the page setup settings in the application you're printing from. Make sure that the margins and paper size are configured correctly.
  • Printer Troubleshooting: Run the printer troubleshooting tools provided by HP. This might include the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility, which can automatically diagnose and resolve printing issues.

Remember that each printer model and network setup can have unique challenges, and it's important to follow the specific instructions for your devices.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it. However, there is no option in HP Smart to change network settings if you aren't connected to the same network you were initially connected to. That makes it very difficult to change the settings on it. If it would allow you to enter your new wifi information that would be helpful. Otherwise you are just locked out. I don't have a touch screen printer and network settings are not on option to select on this printer. I appreciate the reply but this doesn't help in this situation unless "hp smart" gives better options to update your wifi settings without being connected already.
