Hi my hp envy 6155e says it's having trouble connecting to the wifi and when it does connect, it says no internet connection which makes no sense if the wifi is connected already.

Hi @Emilly34,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

Your printer might connect to the local router, but if the router lacks active internet or there is an IP conflict, it will show "no internet."

Unplug your Wi-Fi router and your HP Envy 6155e. Wait 1-2 minutes, plug the router back in, wait for its lights to indicate internet access, and then plug the printer back in.

Refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot.

Move the printer closer to the router during setup to rule out a weak signal, and make sure it is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector.

I hope this helps

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
