Is there ANYTHING else that would cause the wifi on/off toggle switch, on the printer display, turn to off other than touching the wifi icon and then physically touching that on/off toggle switch? I'm specifically asking about the toggle switch being changed from what I set, not how to fix the offline problem. As in, if something/anything threw the printer offline would that cause the wifi on/off toggle switch, on the printer display, to show as off? (I'm trying to find out if this is just normal behavior for this printer or if someone (not something) is actually switching the wifi toggle switch to off on the printer.)
Thanx much for any answers to this. I need to know if I'm up against a system problem or a person problem.

Hi@Cat1234,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you want to know if it is normal for the Wi-Fi on/off toggle switch on the HP ENVY Printer.
I have a few recommendations
- It is not a normal behavior switching the Wi-Fi toggle switch to off on the printer.
- The on/off switch will not be affected if the printer goes offline. Until the user changes it, it remains in its state.
- Try restore the Wi-Fi network
- Click on this link to see if your printer is supported in Windows 11, as well as the compatible software and drivers available to download. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16
Use the touchscreen to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon or Wireless icon
.
Select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
If a confirmation prompt displays, touch Yes.
Wait 60 seconds until the Wireless light blinks blue.
Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thnx for responding. I had the printer reconnected before I posted my question. That toggle switch 'magically' switched off the day after I set it up. Lol! When I posted my question I was just trying to figure out the 'magic' that turned out off. My opinion was/is that a human being somehow hit that toggle switch (prbly accidentally). It hasn't happened since that one episode, so I'm guessing I made my point to the person that I was helping out. Thnx again though.
