Hi @Tyler23231 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing a connectivity issue with your HP DeskJet 2636 All-In-One Printer to a new Wi-Fi network, you can follow these steps:

Using HP Smart App

Download and Install HP Smart App:

  • Go to the app store on your device (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store) and download the HP Smart app.
  • Install the app on your device.

Prepare the Printer:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Make sure it’s not connected to any other Wi-Fi network. If it is, you might need to reset the network settings.

Reset Network Settings (if needed):

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (the one with the Wi-Fi icon) and the Cancel button (the one with the "X" icon) on the printer simultaneously for 3 seconds. This will reset the network settings.

Open HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Make sure your device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to connect your printer to.

Add Your Printer:

  • In the HP Smart app, click on the “+” sign to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to find and select your printer.
  • The app will guide you through connecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Using the Printer Control Panel

Power on the Printer:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on.

Press the Wireless Button:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the wireless light starts blinking. This puts the printer into Wi-Fi setup mode.

Connect to Wi-Fi Network:

  • Go to your computer or mobile device.
  • Open the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the printer's Wi-Fi network. It will be something like "HP-Setup-xx-DeskJet 2630".
  • Once connected, open a web browser and type 192.168.223.1 into the address bar.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

Power on the Printer:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on.

Activate WPS on the Printer:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until it starts blinking.

Activate WPS on the Router:

  • Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
  • The printer and router will establish a connection.
