Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Will Officejet 8620e printer reliably communicate over a 5GHz wifi network? I am constantly having to reconnect my laptop to the printer over my home wifi network. Thank you.

Hi,

An HP Officejet 8620 printer does not support a 5GHz wireless, but only support 2.4GHz wireless operations.

If you have a dual-band router, I suggest making sure your router is set with a unique SSID for each wireless band and ensure you're connected to the same wifi band to a allow a proper communication with the printer over the network.
