Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

One of the latest Win 10 updates completely wiped out my OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus that had been working perfectly in a wireless network for more that two years. Followed many links to restore the printer drivers and hardware, deleted printer and reinstalled many times and also restarted both computer and printer many times. Still does not work. Attempted to restore Win 10 to an earlier date to no avail. I am stuck with a great printer that will not work! Since I cannot do anything about Win 10 I have to look for HP to solve the problem, but it does not look like that is going to happen. There are several of us with the exact same problem. If the only solution is to purchase another printer i will assure you that it will not be a HP printer. I am really fed up with this whole situation.

I understand you are not able to install the printer on your Win 10 PC.

 

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.
