I recently moved to Mexico and my laptop can't find my printer even though they"re connected to the same network. Also I just noticed my warranty has expired so no help from HP. I have restarted the printer. I've re-setup the printer wireless connection. I've changed the location region of the printer, and I made sure printer and laptop are connected to the same network. Please Help

I understand how frustrating it can be when your printer won’t connect, especially after moving to a new country. Don’t worry, we’ll do everything we can to help you get this working again.

Since you’ve already reconnected the printer to Wi-Fi and confirmed both your laptop and printer are on the same network, I’d like to check one important detail:

  • Have you changed the printer’s region settings on the printer itself after moving to Mexico?
  • Also, are you currently using ink cartridges from your previous country or new cartridges purchased locally in Mexico?

Region settings and cartridge compatibility are closely linked; using cartridges from a different region can sometimes cause communication or recognition issues.

Once you share those details, I’ll guide you with the exact next steps to resolve the issue and get your printer back online.
