Hi @ Aposle25,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing difficulty connecting your HP Smart Tank 7602 All-In-One printer to Wi-Fi and seeing a "Busy-Please wait" message, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check Wi-Fi Connection:
    • Ensure that your Mac Sonoma is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
    • Confirm that the Wi-Fi network is stable and working properly.
  2. Printer Display:
    • Check the printer display for any error messages or additional information.
    • If there are any error messages, note them down as they can help identify the issue.
  3. Power Cycle:
    • Turn off both your printer and Mac.
    • Unplug the power cord of the printer and wait for about 30 seconds.
    • Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn it on.
    • Turn on your Mac.
  4. Update Printer Firmware:
    • Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model.
    • If updates are available, follow the instructions provided by HP to update the firmware.
  5. Reinstall Printer Software:
    • Uninstall the existing printer software on your Mac.
    • Download the latest printer software/drivers from the HP website that are compatible with your Mac Sonoma.
    • Install the updated software.
  6. Manual Wi-Fi Setup:
    • On the printer control panel, navigate to the wireless settings.
    • Choose the option to manually enter the Wi-Fi network credentials (SSID and password).
    • Enter the correct Wi-Fi information.
  7. Printer Reset:
    • Check your printer manual for instructions on performing a factory reset.
    • Perform a factory reset on the printer, and then attempt to reconnect it to the Wi-Fi.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
