Hi @Iambart,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I can help you troubleshoot the printing issue with your HP Officejet Pro 6975 on Windows 10. Let's go through a few steps to identify and fix the problem:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your HP Officejet Pro 6975 is properly connected to your computer via USB or a network connection.
  • If it's a network printer, make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. The printer will only work with home wifi not with the  shared network

Printer Status:

  • Open the "Devices and Printers" settings on your Windows 10 computer.
  • Right-click on your HP Officejet Pro 6975 and check if it shows as "Ready." If not, there might be a connection issue.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your computer and the HP Officejet Pro 6975. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues.

Please run HP print and scan Doc:

  • It will help to identify the issue.  Please install the software using the link. Click Here

Printer Queue:

  • Open the "Devices and Printers" settings.
  • Right-click on your printer and select "See what's printing."
  • Cancel any pending print jobs in the queue and try printing again.

Driver Update:

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers for your printer. Visit the HP website, search for your printer model, and download the latest drivers for Windows 10. Click Here

Print a Test Page:

  • Go to the "Devices and Printers" settings, right-click on your printer, and select "Printer properties."
  • In the General tab, click on "Print Test Page" to see if the printer is functioning correctly.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look for any error messages or notifications on the printer's display panel or on your computer. This can provide clues about the issue.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Uninstall the printer from your computer, restart it, and then reinstall it using the latest drivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
