Hi @Decon2407

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To connect your HP LaserJet MFP M140w printer to your wireless network using the WPS method, you need to obtain the WPS PIN. Here's how you can find the WPS PIN for your printer:

Steps to Find the WPS PIN:

Access the Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the wireless settings.
  • Look for the WPS setup option.

Select the WPS PIN Option:

  • Once you enter into the wireless settings, select the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) option.
  • Choose the "PIN" method for connection.

Receive the PIN:

  • The printer will then generate an eight-digit WPS PIN.
  • The PIN will be displayed on the printer's screen.

Enter the PIN:

  • Enter the eight-digit WPS PIN into your wireless router or access point's configuration settings within two minutes.
  • This will establish a secure connection between your printer and the wireless network.

Complete the Setup:

  • Follow any remaining prompts on the printer and the router/access point to complete the setup process.

Using WPS Button Configuration (PBC):

Alternatively, you can use the Push Button Configuration (PBC) method if your router and printer support it.

WPS Button on Router:

  • Press the WPS button on your wireless router.

WPS Button on Printer:

  • Press and hold the WPS button on the printer for about 2-3 seconds.

The printer should connect to the wireless network automatically using the WPS PBC method without needing to enter a PIN.
