Hi @RangerBM,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are to set up your HP Officejet 4620 wirelessly after changing your modem on macOS X 10.10 Yosemite, follow these steps:

Connect Your Printer to Your New Network:

  • Turn on the Printer: Ensure your HP Officejet 4620 is turned on.
  • Access Wireless Setup Menu:
    • On the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon (or navigate to the Wireless setup option using the arrow keys).
    • Select Settings or Wireless Setup Wizard from the menu.
  • Select Your Network:
    • The printer will search for available networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
    • Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. Confirm the connection.

Update Printer Settings on Your Mac:

  • Open System Preferences: Click on the Apple menu in the top-left corner and select System Preferences.
  • Open Printers & Scanners: Click on Printers & Scanners.
  • Add Printer:
    • Click the + button to add a new printer.
    • Your HP Officejet 4620 should appear in the list of available printers. Select it.
    • If prompted, install the latest drivers for your printer.

Verify Printer Connection:

  • Print a test page to ensure that the printer is connected and working correctly.

Troubleshoot If Necessary:

  • If the printer does not appear, make sure it's connected to the same network as your Mac.
  • Restart both the printer and your Mac, and try the setup process again.
  • Ensure your firewall or security software is not blocking the printer's connection.
