@RsaMjrJohn, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I completely understand your frustration with wireless printing, thank you for reaching out. If you'd prefer a direct USB connection for your HP LaserJet MFP M139we, here’s how you can set it up:

Disconnect Wireless Settings (Optional but Recommended):

  • On the printer control panel, reset the network settings to avoid interference:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds until the printer restarts.

Connect the USB Cable:

  • Plug a USB A-B cable (standard printer cable) from your printer to your PC.
  • If you don’t have one, you can purchase it online or from a local electronics store.

Download and Install the USB Driver:

  • Visit the official HP driver page: Official HP® Support
  • Download the Full Software Solution or Basic Drivers for USB setup.

Run the Installer:

  • During installation, choose USB connection when prompted.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.

Disable HP Smart (Optional):

  • If you’re not using HP Smart or HP+, you can skip signing in or registering.
  • For HP+ printers, some features may still require HP Smart for full functionality.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
