My HP Photosmart 6520 e All-In-One won't connect to my secure network.  Connects to a device when using the direct print option.  Will also connect to the unsecure GUEST side of the network.  My secure network uses MAC filtering, the correct MAC address is entered.  Even with the MAC filtering off it won't connect to the secure side of the network.  It is trying to connect to a new router that uses WPA2/WPA3 Personal encryption.  The SSID is correct and the WPA Passcode are correct.  It will not connect using WPS setup or the WIFI Wizard setup.

@5thWheeler, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is not able to connect to the wireless network.

  • This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK
  • Due to the age of the printer, it does not support the newer wireless encryption technologies.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
