Hi @WF164,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand how frustrating it must be when everything seems set up correctly, but the printer just won’t print. Let’s work together to get it working again.
- Are there any error messages or blinking lights on the printer when you try to print?
- Can you confirm if the printer shows up in the list of available devices on your iPhone when attempting to print?
- Have you tried printing from another device, such as a computer, to see if the issue persists?
In the meantime, let's try these steps.
1. Power Cycle the Printer and iPhone
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your iPhone as well.
- Try printing again to see if the issue is resolved.
2. Verify Printer Connection in HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone and check if the printer shows as connected.
- If it’s not connected, try reconnecting the printer to the Wi-Fi network through the app.
3. Check Printer Status and Queue
- Open the HP Smart app, go to Print Queue, and ensure there are no pending or stuck jobs.
- If there are, clear them and try printing a test page from the app.
4. Reset Network Settings on Printer
- On the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons until the Power button light starts blinking.
- Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi through the HP Smart app, then attempt to print again.
5. Check AirPrint Settings
- Make sure AirPrint is enabled on the iPhone and that it’s the default print option in your app.
- Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iPhone, confirm it’s on the same network as the printer, and try printing again from a different app if available.
