DeskJet 2700
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I'm having a real headache with my HP 2700 DeskJet printer. Here's what's going on:

- The printer worked perfect until 2 weeks ago. Suddenly stopped.

- I've Restarted the printer.

- Tried to connect via Wi-Fi using the HP SMART app
- Keep getting errors, over and over
- Tried connecting directly to the printer (followed HP's instructions)
- Now I'm getting a "Wrong PIN" message
- Here's the kicker: I'm using the EXACT PIN shown on the printer screen!

Any ideas? I really need to get this printer working ASAP.

Thanks!

Okay, now that worked excellently, thank you! I logged in with a PIN code directly to the router and set up the wireless network. However, unfortunately I'm still getting an error message when I try to print.
See attached image, it's in Hebrew so I translated it:

Communication between the browser and the printer has been lost. To reconnect, make sure that:

  • The computer and printer are on the same network.

  • The printer's IP address is correct. Open a new browser window and enter the printer's IP address. Tip: To obtain the printer's IP address, print the network configuration page. You may also be able to view the IP address on the printer's display. For more information, refer to the documentation that came with your printer. Click "OK" to return.
