Good Day, I've been receiving unwanted faxes and of course, no number affiliated with the faxes so I believe they must be sending them by the email attached to my printer how can I block these unwanted faxes

Hi @Santa58,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To block unwanted faxes on your HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-In-One Printer, you can try the following steps.
- Check for Fax Block Settings: First, check if your printer has any built-in features for blocking faxes. Navigate through the printer's menu options or check the user manual for instructions on how to access and configure these settings.
- Block by Caller ID: Some printers allow you to block faxes from specific fax numbers or caller IDs. If your printer supports this feature, you can add the fax numbers associated with the unwanted faxes to a blocked list.
- Disable Fax Reception: If you don't regularly receive faxes and can manage without fax functionality for a while, you may choose to disable fax reception temporarily. This can prevent further unwanted faxes from coming through. You can typically disable fax reception through the printer's settings menu.
- Email Filtering: Since you suspect the unwanted faxes are being sent via email, you could explore options for filtering emails. Check if your email provider offers features for blocking or filtering emails based on specific criteria such as sender email address or subject line.
- Change Email Address: As a last resort, if you continue to receive unwanted faxes via email and are unable to block them through the printer or email filtering options, you may consider changing the email address associated with your printer. Be sure to update the email address in your printer settings to reflect the change.
By following these steps, you should be able to effectively block unwanted faxes on your HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-In-One Printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
