Hi @idissatisfied

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 was working fine previously but now has no connection to your Windows 11 system, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Restart Devices

  1. Restart Your Devices:
    • Turn off your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer.
    • Restart your Windows 11 laptop.
    • After the laptop reboots, turn the printer back on.

Step 2: Verify Wireless Network Connection

  1. Check Connections:
    • Ensure both the printer and laptop are connected to the same wireless network.
    • On the printer control panel, access the wireless settings to confirm it shows connected to the correct network.

Step 3: Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  1. Reconnect to Network:

    • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  2. Press the Wireless Button:

    • Press the wireless button or icon on the printer to ensure that it is turned on.

Step 4: Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Download and Run the Tool:
    • Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool on your Windows 11 laptop.
    • Run the tool and select your printer. Follow the prompts to identify and resolve the connection issues.

Step 5: Reset Network Settings (if necessary)

  1. Restore Network Defaults:
    • If the issue persists, restore the printer network settings to their default configuration.
    • This can be done through the Settings menu on the printer by selecting Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
    • Reconnect the printer to your network using the Wireless Setup Wizard afterward.

Step 6: Update Printer Firmware and Drivers

  1. Update Software:
    • Go to the HP Support site to download and install any firmware or driver updates applicable to your printer model.

Step 7: Check Windows Firewall and Antivirus Settings

  1. Verify Security Settings:
    • Ensure that the Windows Firewall or any third-party antivirus is not blocking printer communication.
    • Temporarily disable these settings and attempt to reconnect the printer.
