@eleroo, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

The printer cannot be connected to a guest/university network. You should have access to a personal wireless router.

The MAC address of the printer can be found on the Network configuration page:

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon .

  2. Touch Tools.

  3. Swipe down, and then touch Network Configuration Page to print the page, which can be up to three pages long.

If this does not help, you may use a USB cable or use Wifi-Direct.

For more info, refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

Note: While using Wifi-Direct, there will be no internet access on the computer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
