Hi,
Just bought a mfp 179fnw but cannot find Web services menu to enable this feature. I want to get the claim code to create an account in HP smart/ But when I open the browser with 192.168.100.37 there is no Web services menu at all.
Thanks and regards,
Nenad

Hi,
The printer does not support web services as HP ePrint, therefore it does not have any Claim Code:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03722645
As the printer does not support web services, HPSmart.com would not be applicable to your printer.

Thank you ShlomiL for your prompt answer!
That means I can only print wireless as long as I am connected to my home WiFi, same one where the printer is connected.
Is that correct?
I can also use Wireless direct option but again I need to be "close" to the printer.
Best regards,
Nenad.

Indeed, you can print from the local network only and both devices should be connected to the local network, or to the HP Wi-Fi Direct network, you cannot print from a remote location to the printer.
