This will work even if the printer refuses to appear in HP Smart or keeps trying to connect to the old network.

STEP 1: Restore Wi‑Fi Setup Mode (MOST IMPORTANT)

You MUST reset the printer’s wireless settings before adding it to the new network.

✔️ Do this on the printer:

1. Turn the printer ON
2. Press and hold the Wireless button (📶) + Cancel button (⛔)
3. Hold both for 5 seconds
4. Release them

👉 The printer will enter Wi‑Fi Setup Mode
You will see the wireless light blinking slowly; this is good!

This step erases the old Wi‑Fi and prepares the printer for a new setup.

STEP 2: Use the HP App to Add the Printer Again

On your phone or PC:

1. Open HP App Or Install: HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site
2. Tap Add Printer
3. Wait for the HP LaserJet M207dw to appear
4. Select your new Wi‑Fi network
5. Enter your Wi‑Fi password (case‑sensitive)

👉 The printer only supports 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi.
If your router has only 5 GHz or a combined SSID, it may not show up.
