How do I change the eprint email address? There's nothing in the printers web services menu that allows me to change it. When I log in online, even though my printers are in hpsmart on my app, it says I have zero printers in my online account.

Hi @Leader1144,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To change the ePrint email address for your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw, you'll need to manage it through HP Smart's HP Connected web services. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you change the ePrint email address.
Enable Web Services on Your Printer:
- Check if Web Services are enabled on your printer first.
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the Web Services section.
- If it’s not enabled, follow the prompts to activate it. Your printer will print an information page with your current ePrint email address.
Access Your HP Smart Account Online:
- Go to the HP Smart website and sign in using your HP account credentials.
- If you do not see any printers listed, try adding your printer manually:
- Click Add Printer and follow the on-screen steps to add your MFP M477fnw printer using the printer's unique claim code.
- If you’ve set up HP Smart on the mobile app but not on the website, ensure the same account is used for both.
Manage Your Printer’s ePrint Settings:
- Once your printer is added to your HP Smart account online, go to My Printers.
- Select your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw from the list.
- In the printer’s settings page, look for the ePrint email address section.
- You should see an option to either change or customize your ePrint email address from the default one.
Reset Web Services (If Needed):
- If you are unable to access or modify the ePrint email, try disabling and re-enabling Web Services from the printer’s control panel.
- Go to Settings > Web Services > Remove Web Services.
- Once disabled, re-enable Web Services to get a new claim code and set up ePrint again.
- This should trigger a new registration, allowing you to set up a new ePrint email address.
These steps should help you change your ePrint email address and resolve the issue with your HP Smart account not showing your printers.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

"Go to the HP Smart website and sign in using your HP account credentials. If you do not see any printers listed, try adding your printer manually: Click Add Printer and follow the on-screen steps"
THERE IS NO ADD PRINTER MANUALLY ONLINE WHEN LOGGING INTO HP SMART.

Hi @Leader1144,
Thank you for your response,
Since the "Add Printer" option isn’t available as expected, here are some advanced steps to help resolve the issue.
Verify Web Services Activation
- Make sure Web Services are enabled on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw. Without Web Services, you can't manage ePrint.
- Control Panel > Web Services > Enable Web Services.
- If already enabled, try disabling and then re-enabling to reset any issues.
Retrieve the Printer Claim Code
- The claim code is essential to add the printer to HP Smart and manage ePrint. To get this:
- After enabling Web Services, a page will print showing the ePrint email or claim code.
- If it doesn't print automatically, you can manually print it by:
- Control Panel > Web Services > Print Info Sheet or Print Web Services Status.
Add the Printer Using the HP Smart App (Alternative Method)
- If the HP Smart website isn't allowing you to add the printer, try adding the printer via the HP Smart mobile app:
- Download HP Smart from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in to the same HP account.
- Go to Add Printer (make sure both your printer and phone are on the same network).
- Once the printer is added, you should see the ePrint email and be able to customize it.
Clear Cache and Use Incognito Mode
- Sometimes browser cache can cause issues with website functionality. Try:
- Clearing your browser cache.
- Accessing the HP Smart website in Incognito Mode to see if the "Add Printer" option becomes available.
Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to Reset Web Services
- You can access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) from a browser on the same network:
- Enter the printer's IP address in your web browser (you can find it by printing a Network Configuration Report from the control panel).
- Once in the EWS, navigate to Web Services Settings to disable and re-enable Web Services.
- After resetting, try adding the printer to HP Smart again.
Firmware Update
- Ensure your printer’s firmware is up-to-date. An outdated firmware may cause connectivity and ePrint management issues:
- Go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update the Printer on the control panel.
These steps should give you more control over the printer setup and help change the ePrint email address.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Firmware was already upgraded; Factory Resets completed; Web services activation verified; cache cleared; same HP Account email address confirmed; printers listed in HP Smart App confirmed; (printer email addresses were randomly generated by HP). ***Where is the add printer manually option in these ingonito window views?

Upon watching the video in the link you sent, shortly into, it said to click on the printer I want to change.
Look at my attached screenshot of my account page on this reply and tell me what you suggest I click on?
