How do I change the Network name?  I have 2 laptops in my home, and can only print from one of them.  Each of them have different Network Names.  How can I change the network name so that both laptops will print.  Or, how would I add the 2nd Network name.

Only one network name is  showing up

sorry if I was not clear.  I only have one network in my household but have 2 laptops.  One laptop is for guests, and has a separate network name.  The other is my personal laptop with a separate network name.   I can only print to my HP from the guest network name.  How do I change/add this network name to my personal laptop so I can print from that laptop and not the guest.

Hi,

Your printer and other computer are connected to your home network.

One laptop is for guests, and has a separate network name

Your guest PC is connected to a guest network.

If I clearly understand your intention, that means you have 2 separate networks at home, as 1 network can't have 2 names...

As said, a printer can only be connected to one network, that means that you will need to connect the guest computer to your home network to print, else it cannot access the printer.

Another alternative is to connect the guest computer directly to the Wi-Fi Direct network of your printer and print using HP Wi-Fi Direct.

You may follow below steps to use WiFi Direct:

You may follow Page 70 of its user guide to find out your Wi-Fi Direct Network Name and Password:
