Hi @miskate,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already tried some troubleshooting steps, but let's try a few more to see if we can get your HP DeskJet 2755e connected to your new WiFi network.
- Restart Everything: Start by turning off both your printer and your WiFi router. Wait for a minute or two, then turn them back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues.
- Printer Network Settings: On your printer, navigate to the network settings menu. Look for an option to reset network settings or to set up a new WiFi connection. Follow the prompts to connect to your new WiFi network.
- WiFi Settings on Router: Double-check your new WiFi network settings. Ensure that the network name (SSID) and password are entered correctly on your printer.
- Wireless Direct: If your printer supports it, you can try connecting directly to your printer's wireless network. This is usually indicated by a network name that starts with "DIRECT" or "HP-Print-". Once connected, you can access your printer's web interface to change the WiFi settings.
- HP App: If you haven't already, download the HP app on your smartphone or tablet. This app can help you set up and manage your printer, including connecting it to WiFi.
- Manual Setup via Printer's Control Panel: If all else fails, you may need to set up the WiFi connection manually through your printer's control panel. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
Give these steps a try, and hopefully, one of them will resolve the issue for you!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
