@cal93, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a connection issue with the printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Switching Wi-Fi can definitely throw the printer off balance. Let’s walk through this together:

Step 1: Reset the printer’s wireless settings

On your HP DeskJet 3772, press and hold the Wireless button (the one with the antenna icon) and the Cancel button together for about 5 seconds.

The wireless light should blink, meaning the printer is back in Wi-Fi setup mode.

Step 2: Use HP Smart app

On your phone or computer, install/open the HP Smart app.

Make sure your device is connected to the new Wi-Fi network.

Tap the “+” sign to add a new printer, then select your DeskJet 3772 when it shows up.

Follow the prompts to connect it to your new Wi-Fi.

Step 3: Alternative WPS setup (if router supports it)

Press the WPS button on your router.

Then press and hold the Wireless button on your printer until the light starts blinking.

They should connect automatically within a minute or two.

👉 Once connected, the wireless light on the printer should stay solid.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
