Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

HP Officejet 6950 during setup got to the joining wireless system  entered the modem name but the  password was not accepted it asked for a  wpa2 password can't find this

If you still have issues, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.
