Hi @KevinY2,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing wireless connection issues with your HP LaserJet 1102w printer, here are some steps you can try to resolve them.

Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off your printer and then unplug the power cord from the router.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug in the router again and wait for it to fully restart.
  • Turn on your printer and check if it connects to the network.

Check Wireless Settings on Printer:

  • On your printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
  • Ensure that wireless is enabled and that the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network. If not, select your network and enter the password if prompted.

Print Wireless Network Test Report:

  • Print a network configuration or wireless network test report from the printer's control panel. This will help you verify if the printer is connected to your network and has a valid IP address.

Move Closer to Router:

  • If your printer is far from the router, move it closer to see if it can establish a better connection.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your computer or device that you are trying to print from, as well as the printer itself, to refresh their connection.

Check for Interference:

  • Nearby electronic devices or appliances like microwaves or cordless phones can interfere with Wi-Fi signals. Try moving these away from your printer and router.

Reconfigure Wireless Settings (if needed):

  • If all else fails, you may need to reset the printer's wireless settings and set it up again from scratch using the printer's setup wizard or software.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
