Hi,
Indeed, Chrome OS is not provided with any software or app but for printing.
You may bypass it using the printer's EWS page as following:
- On the printer, press and hold both the Wireless and Cancel buttons for 3 seconds, till the power light starts blinking.
- On your Chromebook, open the Wi-Fi Networks list and connect to the HP-Setup network.
Note: it is expected not to have internet access at this time. - Open Google Chrome and browse to http://192.168.223.1
- Open the Network tab.
- Under Wireless click on Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Follow the steps to select your network name and type its password, complete the steps to connect to the network.
- Once the connection is established and the blue wireless light solid lits, reconnect your Chromebook to the home network and print.
