want to install new xfinity 5.0 lan from 2.4. does printer support 5.0?  when I installed initially I remember there was a problem initially when using previous 5.0

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, 

  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.

HP printers work with a 2.4G network.
