Hello!

I have an HP Photosmart 5520 wireless printer. I recently brought it out of my closet and connected it to my new wifi in my new house. I followed all the instructions and it worked fine for a couple weeks, but I recently tried to print something directly from my google drive and my computer can’t find my printer. the printer refuses to print things from my computer itself as well, like downloads or documents. The blue light indicating a wifi connection on my printer hasn’t gone off, and in Settings, the correct wifi network is displayed. I did discover that my ePrint feature- even though it’s turned on- can’t connect to the server. When I try to connect, a window appears instructing me to “Check the internet connection and try again (the wifi isn’t disconnected), or enter a proxy address." I don’t understand the proxy address concept, and I did begin the process of reconnecting the wifi, but it doesn’t seem like that’s the real issue here.

In another post in this forum, I’ve seen mention of accessing the printer’s EWS page in regards to fixing ePrint issues, which I’m also not sure how to do. When I open my computer’s printer settings page and click the webpage link, it just opens an empty window.

I’m really frustrated and confused, and would really appreciate any advice or support. Thanks!
