Hi @tamalad,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Experiencing an encryption certificate expiration issue on your HP OfficeJet 9010 printer can indeed be frustrating, especially when you've followed the steps provided by HP without success. Let's go through some additional troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue:
Reset the Printer: Sometimes, performing a reset on the printer can help resolve certificate-related issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again.
Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. HP often releases firmware updates to address security vulnerabilities and certificate-related issues. You can check for firmware updates through the printer's control panel menu or by visiting the HP support website.
Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the printer software/drivers from your laptop and then reinstall them. Sometimes, outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause certificate expiration errors. Download the latest printer software/drivers from the HP website and follow the installation instructions carefully.
Check System Date and Time: Ensure that the date and time settings on both your laptop and the printer are accurate. Incorrect date and time settings can sometimes cause certificate validation issues.
Verify Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the network properly and has access to the internet. Some certificate-related processes may require an active internet connection to retrieve and install certificates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
