Hi @MAV-17,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your printer’s Wi-Fi light keeps flashing blue even after following all instructions multiple times. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Understand what the flashing blue light means
A flashing blue Wi-Fi light indicates the printer is in wireless setup mode and is not connected to a network.
The printer will stay in this state until a successful Wi-Fi connection is completed.

Confirm the printer is not already connected
Print a wireless or network configuration report from the printer, if available.
If no network name (SSID) is listed, the printer is not connected and still waiting for setup.

Restart router, printer, and device (clean restart)
Power off the router for 60 seconds, then turn it back on and wait until Wi-Fi is stable.
Restart the printer and the phone or computer used for setup.

Check Wi-Fi band and security
Ensure the Wi-Fi network is using 2.4 GHz and WPA2 security.
Printers may fail to connect on 5 GHz–only networks or WPA3-only security.

Move the printer closer to the router
Place the printer within a few feet of the router during setup.
Weak signal strength can cause repeated setup failures and continuous blue blinking.

Cancel setup mode and restart wireless setup
Press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds to exit setup mode.
Wait for the light to stop blinking, then re-enter wireless setup using the recommended button combination or setup app.

Complete setup using one device only
Use only one phone or computer for setup and ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
Disable mobile data, VPNs, and private relay features during setup.

Verify router settings
Confirm MAC address filtering is disabled and the router is allowing new devices to connect.
Temporarily disable firewall or parental control features and test again.

I hope this helps.
