@Diamond1956, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've forgotten the password for your HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e printer, here are a few steps to help you reset or change it depending on the type of password you're referring to:

Forgot Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) Password

If you set a password for the printer's Embedded Web Server and forgot it:

To reset the EWS password:

  1. On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Restore.
  2. Select Restore Factory Defaults.
  3. This will reset all settings including the EWS password.

⚠️ Note: This will also reset network settings and remove any custom configurations.

Forgot Wi-Fi Password

If you're trying to connect the printer to Wi-Fi but forgot your router password:

  • You’ll need to access your router settings or contact your Internet Service Provider to retrieve or reset the Wi-Fi password.

Forgot HP Smart Account Password

If you're trying to log in to HP Smart and forgot your account password:

To reset HP Smart password:

  1. Go to HP Smart Sign-In
  2. Click Forgot Password?
  3. Enter your registered email and follow the instructions to reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
