Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

so I got a new route, I could get my printer to hook to my wireless network. I researched and just unloaded printer and tried to reload it. now it says that it will not accept the 32 bit. Mac has changed to a 64 bit, the CD will not even load or accept it. my printer is in good shape and I don't want to buy another. how can I fix this problem?
