Hi @kiera7

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

If you're having trouble connecting your HP Officejet 4632 printer to the HP Smart app, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check Printer Compatibility:

    • Ensure that your HP Officejet 4632 is compatible with the HP Smart app. You can check the HP Smart app's compatibility requirements on the HP website.
  2. Update HP Smart App:

    • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device. If not, update it from the app store on your mobile device.
  3. Connect to the Same Network:

    • Ensure that both your printer and the device with the HP Smart app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  4. Printer Setup:

    • Confirm that your HP Officejet 4632 is set up and connected to your Wi-Fi network. Check the printer's control panel or the wireless settings in the printer's menu.
  5. Restart Devices:

    • Restart your printer, mobile device, or computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  6. Reinstall HP Smart App:

    • If the problem persists, try uninstalling the HP Smart app and then reinstall it on your mobile device.
  7. Forget and Reconnect Wi-Fi:

    • On your printer, forget the current Wi-Fi network and reconnect to it. This might involve going to the printer's control panel and navigating to the wireless settings.
  8. Check Firewall and Security Settings:

    • Ensure that your firewall or security software is not blocking the communication between the printer and the app. Temporarily disable your firewall to see if it makes a difference.
  9. Update FIRMWARE. Click here
  10. If you've tried all the above steps and are still facing issues, consider contacting HP support for assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or advice based on your printer model and the nature of the problem.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
