Product: ENVY 5052

My school district will not allow me to connect my HP ENVY 5052 to the wifi for security reasons. I have the printer connected to my lenovo desktop which is connected to the internet via an ethernet cable. How to I make sure that HP is able to monitor my instant ink account and send in when I need it?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?
