Hi @CB303,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To change the network on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw after getting a new internet server, you need to connect the printer to the new Wi-Fi network. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:

Step 1: Prepare Your Network Information

Before you start, make sure you have the following information:

  • Network name (SSID)
  • Network password (WPA/WPA2 key)

Step 2: Connect the Printer to the New Network

Turn on the Printer:

  • Ensure your printer is turned on and in a ready state.

Access the Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the Setup menu by pressing the Setup button (usually a wrench icon).

Navigate to Network Settings:

  • Use the arrow keys to find and select Network Setup or Network.
  • Select Wireless Menu.

Run Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • The printer will search for available wireless networks.

Select Your Network:

  • From the list of available networks, select your new network (SSID).
  • If your network does not appear, ensure it's broadcasting and within range, then refresh the list.

Enter Network Password:

  • Enter the network password using the control panel's keypad.
  • Confirm the password and proceed.

Wait for Connection:

  • The printer will attempt to connect to the new network.
  • Once connected, a confirmation message will appear.

Kindly find the next set of steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @CB303,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Step 3: Update Printer Settings on Your Computer

Reinstall Printer Drivers (if necessary):

  • If your computer had the printer installed with the old network settings, you might need to reinstall the printer drivers.
  • Go to the HP Support page and enter your printer model (HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw).
  • Download and install the latest drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit).

Add the Printer to Your Computer:

  • Open Settings on your computer.
  • Go to Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select Add a printer or scanner.
  • Wait for your printer to appear in the list, select it, and click Add device.

Step 4: Verify Printer Functionality

  1. Print a Test Page:
    • Print a test page to ensure your printer is correctly connected to the new network and functioning properly.
    • You can do this from the printer's control panel or through the printer settings on your computer.

Additional Tips:

  • Restart Devices: Sometimes, restarting your printer, computer, and router can help resolve connection issues.
  • Check Firewall Settings: Ensure your firewall or antivirus software is not blocking the printer from connecting to the network.
  • Static IP Address: If your network has specific requirements, you may need to assign a static IP address to the printer through the router's settings.

By following these steps, your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw should be successfully connected to your new network.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
