how do i know if my HP Envy 6055 is connected to wifi? Does the wifi signal flash if connected and the blue list over the paper tray stays lit if connect to my network?

Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid. 

 

When both the computer and the printer are connected to the same network, try printing.

Recently purchased an Envy 6055. I downloaded the HP Smart Application. This printer will not connect to my 802.1 WiFi Network. I'm ready to return it for a refund if this problem is not resolved. I tried with and without a U.S.B. cable with no luck.
